Mom and Lisa

Hello Everyone.

Well, Lisa has been here for over 2 1/2 weeks! She is such a little sweetie! Mom says she looks like a little papoose because of her dark hair and slightly slanted eyes. She is beautiful! And I don't think I'm just saying that because she is my sister. Ryan (who is known for saying newborns aren't really cute) even said, "She's really cute!" So there! lol jk ?But she's doing really good. She eats A TON!!! I've never seen a newborn eat that much! She drinks aprox. 5 oz. in one feeding. And she eats every 3-4 hours. She's pretty chunky!

I was really on here to ask you all to pray for Mom. She is in the hospital AGAIN with a kidney infection. Yesterday, she noticed she wasn't getting anything in her bag, so she asked me to flush her tube. (you take a syringe filled with sterile saline, unscrew the bottom part of the tube, and push the saline through the upper part into her kidney. That clears the tube and helps there to be no infection.) Well, usually it goes in really easy, but this time I had to push really hard just to get some of it in. We thought it was really clogged, so I worked with the tube for awhile; squeezing it, flicking it, all the stuff we do whenever it gets clogged. That usually works so we don't have to take her in. It didn't work this time, and the whole time the urine was just building up in there, (which it really, really painful) So she went in at about 3:00 yesterday afternoon, and they found she has a kidney infection. They were going to try to break the stone up on Monday (with a laser) but they may not be able to do it now. She was really looking forward to getting it out, and now she's not too happy (as you might imagine!) Lisa is here with us. She's on all formula right now, until Mom is done with the antibiotic. They said it's not to safe for nursing mothers. :(

So, now we have 2 babies here without Mommy! Justin is right at that age where he gets into everything! lol You put him down, he's immediately trying to be mischievous. Lisa is a helpless little baby... so between them and Sarah and Jason, we have our hands full. Grandma and Grandpa are bringing us supper tonight, which is AWESOME!!! Pizza and Salad... yummm! It's so nice not having to worry about what to make for supper! And I would have to rack my brain on what to make, because we don't have to many things here! Today is the day we were supposed to go shopping, but that isn't going to happen. Mom was going to go get some ground beef that would have lasted us for 2 meals when she started having pain, so we're stuck! lol

Anyways, if you could all be praying that this clears up as soon as possible so Mom can come home to us. :) She's really down too about having to be in the hospital again. :(
